(mere)

Cute. A heron and a crane keep asking each other to marry, but keep getting very easily offended. Spoiler alert! They never got married and are probably still there today, dithering and getting their feathers in a ruffle. So I liked the ending. (And, there's no reason why you can't regender to your heart's content to have a same-gender relationship.)

This is a great rhyming book. I think kids would enjoy this book. It is about a dog trying to get out of doing exercise so he plays like he his sick. Then when the dog's owner calls the doctor the dog is no longer sick and can exercise.

A wonderful retelling of a classic story, complete with illustrations. This retelling is complete, and teaches the lessons of perseverance, honesty, dedication, and the true wealth in life. Sinbad the Sailor, through his stories, teaches these lessons, as well as the lesson of being content with what you have in life to Sinbad the Porter, a man that he encounters outside his house one day. Lessons that are as import for children, as well as adults.
