A beautiful sweet story
I found the book easy to read and enjoyed the story and the characters, but in the end it was nothing special for me.
Perhaps I've just see too many movie variations of the Miklós László play Parfumerie (Hungary, 1937). The Hallmark Channel recently premiered a variation on the theme, Bottled with Love.

It's a dream of mine to see the world, Ms. Whitney helped out a little with that. Imagery plays a huge part in destination stories and the precise descriptions of some of the most beautiful areas of the world, made it easy to picture myself as a part of the scenery. Add in a little suspense, a bit of heat and the element of soul searching emotion and Lucinda Whitney made a lasting impression. Meet Me at Sunrise is an imaginative quest of self - discovery and second chances.
