I found this to be a very interesting book. The author points out the methods of several famous people of the past as far as their ways to strategize. I believe I can use what I have read to help myself to set and reach better personal goals, as well as professional goals. There's a lot of good information in here!

The Strategist Code: The Timeless System of the Titans of Strategy” is a book written by Johnny Welch. The book is a total guide to a system of a person, group or societies approach to strategic thinking and leadership. Mr. Welch himself drew on the wisdom and knowledge of the many strategists throughout history. The book’s main focus is
on Napoleon Bonaparte’s 16-factor framework for strategic mastery,
which is a person, group or societal group could use for success in today’s fast-paced and competitive world. Family empires like that of the Rothschild's and the founding fathers' rule to is sons of maintaining UNITY above all else is a key part of the Strategist Code I feel. You may not think you can learn strategy from Napoleon, Joan of Arc, and Genghis Khan, but Johnny Welch would disagree with you. His book lays out a strategic framework (inspire/explore/implement/realize) using dozens of historical examples that illustrate his points. He acknowledges that some of his subjects had questionable moral values but maintains that doesn’t negate their strategic genius. You’ll also find many quotes from contemporary authors on strategy and leadership. Dr. Welch has used stories to effectively describe what can be a dry topic. An entertaining read.… (mere)

While the title of this book accurately states its intended focus on strategy, it is so much more.
It is definitely a five star book for anyone interested in past world leaders, famous battles and historic events.
Many of the major events recorded from the time of the Mongol empire to our involvement in the second world war are presented for study with the aim of showing how the strategy behind the event helped determine the outcome.
Like any good book there is an explanatory title to each chapter and an extensive bibliography. Almost every page has references and or quotes from previous literature supporting the authors thesis.
The book is packed with information and will appeal to any history buff whether old or new. If you have a favorite historic leader you will likely find him in this book planning his strategy for some event that changed the world. Yes again. Five stars
