There is a lot great stuff in this book for folks looking to plant a raingarden. The reference lists of plants are pretty good and the discussion on landscaping and creating berms on slopes is a really important point to make that I'm glad was included. However, I was really surprised that the irrigation recommendation of attaching corrugated pipe to your downspout and shallowly burying it was allowed to go to press by a publisher with roots in Minnesota. In any northern state that has very cold winters, this would crack and break and make a mess.… (mere)
I borrowed this from the library and liked it so much that I bought it. Another great reference, includes how to control the plants and propagation. Nice photos.
