Good account of German prisoners of war in Utah and how many worked in the fields. Some came to love Utah and came back as immigrants. Salina tragedy also explained (a guard with problems machine-gunned sleeping prisoners in their tents in the early hours of a Sunday morning : 9 died, and 19 others were injured). The dead are buried at the Ft. Douglas cemetery.

Quite an interesting book. There is also a recent documentary film with the same title about the same subject.
