I wanted to love this, because I love books with twins, but this just fell flat for me. I didn't connect with Payton, I found her to be immature and unlikeable. So I never connected to her relationship with her sister. While I sympathize with her grief and loss, it wasn't enough for me to like her. I also wasn't the biggest fan of the writing, it very much felt like a first draft - there was awkward phrases, a weird faux-southern way of speaking, and this overwhelming tone of immaturity. It just didn't work for me. I did skip to the end, so I could see what the big twist was, and I liked it - but I never felt compelled to get to that point.

I received a copy of the book from Blink via Edelweiss in exchange for an honest review.

I started this book at 10 at night, absolutely sure that I would read one chapter then go to bed. That did not happen. What to know what happen? The first chapter hooked me in, that I stayed up reading till 1:30 am, with tears running down my face.

This book has ensnared me in so many ways. Everyone has the own journey to make. Have you ever met someone that completely changed your life? Someone who gave no judgment but offered a pure and lovely friendship? I have. I will never forget my first godly mentor and leader. Like a painting, Collision is painted with an collide of colors that will leave you breathless with the most beautiful painting you have ever seen.

The plot of the book rocked. Very intriguing, after chapter one, I tell myself, "one more chapter." I ended up just deciding to read the whole book because there’s was no way I was going to put it down. Both Cab and Kei are amazing characters will life’s that draw in the reader. They way the attract each other leaves such a smile on my face.

Their love is one of kind. The purest of love that I have ever read. Their love is not lustful or fake. It's real and heart-moving. Ms. Miller does a great job in getting the readers to really invest their feelings in her characters as if they are real. There are several parts in the story where even I felt their romance beating in my chest.

The ending of the book, is...well I'm not going to spoil it. Just know that when you read this book, there is so much more that what you see. The bigger picture of the book isn't revealed to the end, and then you understand why their lives had to collide. Why they had to meet to mold each other. Each of them had a journey. A journey in which their life affects the other. It's beautiful and breathtaking.

Collision is ultimately a life changing book. There is a saying, "Some people comes into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for a while and leave footprints on our hearts. And we are never, ever the same." That is Collision. The value of this book is an experience that every should take. Collision delivers a sensory-overload that explodes in every heart that reads this story. Breath-takingly beautiful, Collision is astounding!

To say I love this book is an understatement. This book goes beyond the YA contemporary romance and brings so much raw emotion to the real world. I adored the romance, got swept away by the story, laughed, cried, and found myself inspired by the characters. This is now one of my favorite YA reads and Stefne Miller a new favorite author. I can not recommend this book enough. If you like contemporary romance but want something with its own brand of YA magic, pick up Collision.
