Mixing the "Word of God" with "The Shaping of America". Well... it's an interesting mess. Kind of apples and oranges. They are similar, but don't quite go together. It misquotes or has quotes "attributed to" many Founding Fathers that are wrong or are wrongly applied. It seems to be using the gravitas of the Bible to shore up the new sections (and of course, ignoring current research on Biblical history and writing). There are some thought-provoking ideas, but this needs to be two separate books. I'll avoid discussion of NKJV vs. other translations, but note that the Founding Fathers did not have NKJV. I have many commentaries on the Bible, but few (none) have the chutzpah to insert them directly into the Bible--even annotated Bibles are small discussions on particular verses, not inserting whole unrelated sections into the Books of the Bible. Blasphemy? Hmmm. With the current altering expired copyright trends, I'm hoping this is not the first step towards "The Old and New Testaments and Zombies".… (mere)

This book is very well-written. You can tell that the author speaks for a living. I found it interesting to read about the unrest in the country from a religious, instead of purely political, point-of-view. It gave me a new perspective on what is going on. I definitely think this would be a great book for a college poli sci or current events class.

The Coming Revolution is an extraordinary look back at where our Country has been, and those men and women who shaped it. As well as a look into where this Country may be headed if it does not heed the warnings, and live up to the ideals, the founding father's had hoped for, dreamed of, and set the path toward for today.

Lee tackles the not so PC [politically correct] move away from Christianity, and what that means to the America on which our founders based our Country.

A great book for anyone who fears the direction in which America is headed. I think this would make a great study book for group reads, especially in church groups. And would be a good impetus for classroom debate as well.

I give this book 5 stars and my thumbs up.
