Al Jennings was a practicing attorney in the Oklahoma Territory before becoming an outlaw and the head of a gang that robbed trains. He fled to Honduras but returned to the United States. He was given a life sentence, but that was reduced to five years, and he was freed on technicalities in 1902. vis mere Jennings worked as a silent film star and technical adviser for films featuring bank robbers. He later moved to California and made Westerns. Jennings died in Tarzana, California, in 1961. vis mindre
