I have owned this book since probably 2004 and used it regularly for years. It's excellent for any level horse or rider in any discipline. Basically, it's the ultra-practical horse book. You can work on collection, extension, bending, shoulder-ins, rounding the back, halting from the trot. You can do such things in two dozen different exercises each so you can pick which exercises are most productive for the individuals involved and have enough alternatives to keep anyone from getting bored (an equine problem you might be acquainted with if you pick up this book). Whether it's taming the energy of your four-year-old Thoroughbred or loosing the muscles of your twenty-five-year-old Quarter horse; whether the rider is a beginner child or a professional in their prime, you can keep this book on hand in the tack room or arena side.… (mere)
