An interesting book pulling together articles about social housing in the UK in the C20th, taking examples from across the UK with varying viewpoints. I think the most interesting to me was the one about maintaining a Westminster Council block through its life in the 1990s, as I lived in a similar block in London and worked in Regeneration for a time. Not to everyone's taste, but I enjoyed dipping into this and seeing those great plans actually put into action, with all the varied results that entailed.… (mere)
