Although I do not read spooky books on a regular basis, I do like to indulge myself once in a while to switch things up. I loved this book just as much as I did Book 1 in the series. The author does a wonderful job helping you visualize exactly what is going on in the book; so much so that you feel that you are there with the characters. Throughout this book, the characters learned that you cannot always trust those close to you, so be careful of your surroundings at all times. And then things get personal when one of the victims is close to a member of the S.P.I.R.I.T. team. I do not want to give too much detail to ruin the twists and turns for you; you just have to read this for yourself! I hope there is a Book 3 in the works.… (mere)

I was not sure what to expect when I first started reading this book, since I have not read anything else from this author prior. The first few chapters were real confusing, which is not necessarily a bad thing. I continued reading, because I just had to figure out the story line, there were so many different directions the story and characters could go. I quickly fell in love with Samantha and Zander; what is not to love? The further you get into the book, the more things start to make sense. But, once you start to think you have one part figured out, something else is there to make you question your own assumption. I love the twists and turns, and could not put this book down once I started. Unfortunately, I had to- I have children! But every spare moment I had, I was reading! The ending leaves you feeling satisfied, instead of confused, or hanging. You will not be sorry that you read SPIRIT.… (mere)

This book was an awesome read! I normally get a book that has a cover that draws me in. I received this ebook free for an honest review. I was excitingly surprised of what a great story it was. This book has action, suspense, paranormal all wrapped in an amazing book. I was immediately drawn into the book and couldn't put it down. I read this story in a day, which is amazing, since it usually takes me a couple days. This is a very fast read that leaves you wanting more from Sam and Zander!!

The story starts out Sam and Zander meet at an unexpected place and are drawn together for some unknown reason. They feel like somehow they are familiar with each other. Sam doesn't remember how she gets to this unknown town to her and Zander is inclined to help. Through a series of different events, Sam and Zander find out how she got there and this pull they have to each other. They also encounter paranormal things along the way.
