As a crafter, I was drawn to this book mostly because of the embroidery. There is so much information here! I enjoyed reading about how linens have changed over time. The stories just added that personal touch and made me feel as if I was part of a group of wonderful women. I enjoyed this book so much I purchased her other book on aprons.

The Kitchen Linens Book: Using, Sharing, and… af EllynAnne Geisel

This book is heart-warming, and I realized my love for kitchen linens. EllynAnne Geisel's collection is drool-worthy, and the excerpts are cozy and nostalgic.

The best thing about this book is that it introduced me to embroidering. I'm far from an expert, but I'm going along at a wonderful pace and can't wait to use the vintage iron-on transfers in the back of the book.

Five stars times five!

I love this book and keep it on the top of my vintage craft books. Honestly, the content is light and filled with lovely stories, tips, recipes, and history. But why I really love this book is that it reminded me of my love for vintage linens and got me back to collecting and appreciating them, as well as back to the simple art of embroidery. Another endearing aspect of this book is the striking pictures and the lovely attention to detail. I love to see the richness of the vintage designs.

Delightful and charming are descriptions I've read throughout the reviews and I have to whole-heartedly agree.… (mere)
