Tah-Tye baby opossum who does not want to leave mama's pouch, and explore his home, the Louisiana swamp, soon learns all about his unique skills he has to take care of himself.
Cute enough, though a little simplistic. And the text was placed in odd places on the picture itself and so was sometimes hard to see. But I have to give this a bonus for being so original and fresh. I almost never see books about the bayou critters or about French. In fact I don't think I've *ever* seen a dirt-dauber get a name and friends before! Simple pronunciation guide in the box, and a simple orginal song in the book to enrich the experience for anyone who can read music & play an instrument. I note this is a whole series, but my library system doesn't have enough to make it worth getting involved.… (mere)
This Cajun French tale is about a crawfish named Clovis.When his lizard friend is upset because she cannot find her twin sister, Clovis helps. He starts a search for his friend's twin sister. Clovis gathers all the insects, reptiles, and others to search in different areas. Finally at the end happiness is found when the twin sister is found.
