April and Ryan grew up as the stars of their mother's radio talk show. It cost them a lot - friends, romance, and reputations at school. Their mother and father just couldn't understand the problem. The problem is - kids can be cruel to each other. When April meets Bill she knows he is special and that he has experienced more cruelty from their peers than she can ever imagine.
