I found the characters simplistic, and the author sometimes just gives something a funny name instead of describing it (I still don't know what pelloligams are except that they migrate). But it was a fun read, the girls adored it, Flo is a kick-ass heroine, and it has some good life lessons (real courage is doing things despite being afraid, there are a lot of things more important than boys and looking good, etc. )

One day a boy named Wilfie goes on a play date with his teddy bear, Eddie but loses him along the way. He goes to a toy store which leads him to the Land of the Lost Teddies. Wilfie goes through many places and meets many Teddies until he finally finds Eddie and can bring him back home for good! This book has questions at the end of each section as well and can really help the kids do fun activities and stay focused on the reading.

In a world where Magic is the technology and where Flo is a modern witchgirl, where her mother edits a magazine about modern witchcraft and her grandmother has just got thrown out of her home for insisting that Ghouls are coming, this is where we're thrown. I'm not really the right age for this, the Witch-everything got old fast for me. I didn't hate it but it just felt too young and cutesy for me.½
