Great young adults book about Batman’s gadgets & vehicles!
Batman Science is a book that shows all of Batman's toys and compares them to real life technological devices. The book shows how advanced technology is nowadays, and how the gadgets shown in superhero movies are real. It explains technological concepts in a more simplified way so it's easy for students to understand. This would be a great book for students who are interested in superheroes, technology, and comics.
Uses engaging nonfiction text and hands-on projects to help young readers explore real-life flying vehicle engineering projects, including the science behind how these vehicles are planned and built.

Something that I really like about this book is that it shows students not only the science behind Batman's gear, but also that it is being used in everyday life. Firefighters, police men, military personnel, and engineers are all referenced in this book. I really enjoyed reading this book as an adult and learned that the first flying car as well as shape shifting car have been invented.
I'm hoping to use this in my 2nd grade classroom. I will probably pick a few different pages to focus on in relation to a NGSS standard.… (mere)
