This book is good for Kindergarten to 1st grade students. It is very colorful and simplistic and it teaches the students about things they encounter in their daily life. However I do not think I would have it in my classroom, I can find a better book that teaches them the same things

this nook is for primary level students. This book talks about the rainbow and how to plant flowers.

I'm genuinely confused why anyone would give this less than five stars. Ehlert just gets the magic found in nature.

This is a really cute book for primary students. I loved the cut outs and I think that this would even be great for children before they go to school. Showing them the different shapes and colors!

This book is great for teaching younger kids about flowers and how they grow.

Lots of fun cut-out pages, lovely art, and relevant info about the butterfly's life cycle.

I remember pressing leaves in wax paper at storytime when I was kid. Didn't everybody do that?

It's pretty but not beautiful, understandable but not inspired. When writing a love story to a tree for children, there should be a lot of love.½
