Along Came You, is a book for young children about a mother who is happy to have her daughter. It tells of how things were for a mother before she had her daughter and after she had her daughter. Has great illustrations and fun language. Shows the love a mother has for having a child.
Personal Reaction:
This would be a great book during Mother’s Day. It is for a young audience colorful and can show how being a mother is important for a child to understand.
Extension Ideas:
1. Make Mother’s Day cards.
2. Talk about why being Parents is important to them. Show the emotion of Love and Caring.
