Lisa Chilson-Rose has given her heart to New York for 17 years through ministry and volunteer work. After 9/11, she worked in the relief efforts for those devastated by the attacks. "I noticed that God had already begun to do incredible things in their lives, and I knew that this somehow needed to vis mere be written down." she explains. Lisa has contributed several articles to New York publications about volunteering and coping after 9/11. She is currently the director of volunteers and partnerships for the Metropolitan New York Baptist Association. She lives in Manhattan with her husband, Russell vis mindre

While I find it uplifting that many turned to Christ because of those acts of terrorism, I wholeheartedly disagree that it was part of "God's plan."
I think that, in its place and for what it's worth, AS THE TOWERS FELL is an encouraging look at faith, but for those survivors left behind it may very well be small comfort.… (mere)
