This is a non-fiction, concise history of pirating with a few tales of the deeds of the world's most famous pirates thrown in for some added colour. Did you know that one of the most feared and earliest pirates was a woman? Did you know that the "code" talked about in the POTC movies was real, but some of the rules were very strange (eg. lights out at 8pm). p.36-41 Tells of the life of Blackbeard the Pirate.
