I read this book via an Amazon KU [KINDLE Unlimited] download.

I'm a multi-genre author who is also a rather voracious multi-genre book reviewer who since, August 2014, has received 1,430 books. Sometime in 2018, I read my first nonfiction Christian book. In 2019, about 45% of 260+ books I had reviewed were nonfiction Christian books [about 118]. Reading these many books inspired me to publish my first two Christian books in January 2020.

In 2020, while the COVID-19 pandemic might have caused a 50% reduction in the number of books I got to read/review. While the number of reviews I wrote remained the same, the percentage of these books increased to more than 70% of the 160+ books I reviewed.

The two published I published me to begin writing a Christian blog, where each day I share the words of the Lord by doing a daily scripture reflection. Naturally, doing this increased the relationship I possessed with the Lord. The increased relationship grew for one reason as I've realized that I no longer read scripture in the third person, as they got written in; I, in essence, became part of the scripture I had read.

This transformation regarding how I perceive scripture is precisely what this book by Kathryn J. Bain is all about. The more I share the Lord's words, the more I get connected with Him.

Each day of the 60-day transformational journey she takes her readers on starts by giving the original scripture, then rewrites it by substituting the words, I and me, to make it more personal for them. Ms. Bain then offers a devotion based on the scripture getting presented. Each day culminates with a proclamation that she wants her readers to proclaim aloud.

Ms. Bain wants her readers to increase and improve their relationship with the Lord by realizing that they're the scripture, not some third person like we, thee, etc. It is for this reason I've given her the 5 STARS she deserves for her endeavor here.… (mere)

KT Morgan stories are short and the good guy wins. In this installment, Freddie invites KT to be his guest at a dinner party. The dinner party is hosted by Malcolm Ridgeway, who is supposed to be Freddie’s partner on a software app development. But Malcolm wants to be more than a partner, he wants ownership. The ruse of the dinner party is to get guests to spill their secrets as party of a dangerous game. Freddie is terrified of the game.
Fortunately, KT is there to ensure all goes smoothly, but will it turn out for Freddie and his software app? Or his love life?

"Game of Hearts" by Kathryn J. Bain was a terrific romantic novel. This is a story of a woman named Deborah Zimmerman. and the way she handed a 'dad beat dad, (ex husband), financial stress,' mean father, and her dear children. I think that her friends (Scarlett, Jory, Rebecca) that Debi played with monthly 'game of hearts' and went to church with her really played a positive role in helping her deal with her life especially through prayers and helping her with some of her needs..... such as clothes, food, and money.

Picking up a cake for Debi's daughters'(Sara) birthday and falling into Brandon Nash....and running into him while on a run, then seeing him at church...Debi and Brandon soon became friends and from that.....now at this point you will have to pick up this good read and find out what is in store for Deborah Zimmerman's story. In the end ... with God on Debi's side... How can she lose in getting what she needed?

I found "Game of Hearts" a beautiful short read that I really enjoyed. I would recommend to any adult as a good read.… (mere)
