First Impressions
Sing for Me is the second book in this duology that we have here and I have to say that this one was way harder and more challenging to read than "Breathe For Me" ever was. There is so much emotional turmoil and drama that happens int his one that it gets really difficult to read at times. I really stuck with it because I was so hooked into the story and didn't care what this author would put me through but boy it was intense, but I had to see it through for the reunion between the brothers and I just knew once our couple worked through their issues, that their romance would sing and it definitely was worth it but know that this is a emotionally challenging in how the author writes it and will probably put you through a mental war before you get to the HEA.

First Line
"Where's your fiancee tonight, Langston?"

The Main Protagonists
The Hero: Mason
Is a professional bull rider, full of demons and hate, has a temper at times but is protective of women.

The Heroine: Harmony
Harmony is on the run from an abusive ex, she is still tormented by her past and being betrayed by her family who should have protected her. She still suffers elements of PTSD from past abuse.

Summary
Mason was abused throughout his childhood by his father and felt abandoned by his brother and was determined to find his own path in life and what called to him and gave him peace was those 8 seconds that he found upon riding the bull. He is now one of the best professionals of bull riding and then he finds the one woman he never thought he would find. Harmony never had a loving family. Her father sold her to her husband and she was abused for years until she found the courage to run and find her own life. She has two best friends she considers family. She still battles the affects of the abuse that she suffered and is slowly working through it. When Mason, infamous bull rider, saves her from an abusive security guard, an instant connection forms between them. But the past is bound to come to the surface and connect Mason and Harmony in ways that neither of them expected...

What I Loved
Sing For Me was such a powerful read! There is so much to unpack here but to be frank this one put me through such a roller coaster but what makes it all worth it are these characters and wanting them to find their HEA that both of them deserve. Each of them have suffered in their own way and they have to work through their abuse while also not letting themself lose each other to the torments of the past. The connection that is between Mason and Harmony was so captivating. I just wanted to cheer these on through their successes and in the small intimate moments that they share in building each other up. They have so many demons, but together, they are able to find the capability and drive to continue to fight their demons and carve their own path together.

The plot of the story was the most fascinating to me and in seeing how the villain of this duet that wants to destroy the ranch is actually connected closely with Harmony. It really builds slowly thoughout the story and really captures you attention so quickly. And you see the moments where Mason has to return home and the almost painful reunion where the truth between the brothers comes fully revealed and what reveals these two learn about each other. I really loved Harmony's influence on Mason though especially in the later half of the story. This is where we see how true their connection is to each other and how she is able to help Mason keep centered in certain ways while in other ways each of them need to fight their own battles. I loved the balance of character growth and relationship building that we see implemented throughout this whole story.

What I Struggled With
I really struggled with some of the more emotional and mental struggles that our main characters have. It gets too stretched out at times. And this might be too much for some readers. I was completely invested in this book though and wanted to see it through to the end, but if I hadn't been in the right mood for emotional turmoil, I might have DNF'd this one. So my best advice, make sure you know what you are getting into with this one and be willing to take it on. It won't be for everyone especially. But I did feel like the emotional battles these two work through are the most realistic. Its not easy to read, but its probably the most relatable especially if you have suffered any type of mental illness like anxiety or depression or abuse. Recovery and healing take time and it doesn't happen overnight.

Overall View
Sing For Me is a captivating and heart wrenching romance that will bring your deepest emotions to the surface, its a romance you won't want to let go of and will delivers all the feels to see it through to the end...

He was the first ray of sunlight that peaked through the clouds after a storm. He was a beautiful chord in a song that sent goosebumps across my skin. He was every note in the music I’d been writing for the last two months.

Newsflash: this cowboy wasn’t going away. Even if he was fighting for his life, he wasn’t going away.

“Loved you the second I saw you and every second after that, Little Song.”

First Impressions
Breathe For Me is a story that was with a completely new to me author. This author I was first introduced to through bookstagram as its pretty big all over there and I definitely was curious. I will be honest in that if I had just seen this book at first glance, I would have passed by it. The cover is pretty unimpressionable, however, I absolutely ended up loving this book in the end. It definitely is worth the hype that its getting and if you love the idea of a dark cowboy romance, than this book needs to get put at the top of your watchlist. This series is about two brothers and the connection to their family ranch and a enemy that wants to take everything from them.

First Line
"Hey there, handsome," a female voice purred.

The Main Protagonists
The Hero: Denver
Alpha male, Military, Runs a ranch and is a single father

The Heroine: Valerie
Desperate to save her mother, willing to do anything to save her

Summary
Denver was the first born son, but he was determined to serve his country before he took on the ranch responsibilities head on. On the day of his return, he has a one night stand but didn't know that the woman looking for the one night stand was actually his brother's fiancee. And when his brother finds out, he breaks the already broken relationship that they have and his brother leaves and never returns. Now its been a decade later, and he has a son from that casual affair and will do anything to protect his ranch. Valerie, has a mother and her only family, who is dying of cancer and she will do anything to keep her mother on this earth and her treatments cost a fortune. Then part of her job is to convince Denver to give up his ranch. But Denver will never give up his family's land no matter how beautiful the representative is or how much she tempts him. But there is more going on than meets the eye, and this battle between Denver and Valerie will be one wild ride...

What I Loved
This book practically consummed me and kept me all night reading. Yep it was that kind of book. I had no clue how addictive this story would be or how drawn in I would be into this author's world. I adored everything about this book. And what great angst that was written here. I never know if I will enjoy how an author will write enemies to lovers, but Brittany Ann wrote superb angst that really made sense and loved the slow progression from enemies to lovers that this couple engages on. And it definitely gave me so many western atmospheric vibes that I was all in for. I would most definitely ride this cowboy because he definitely knows what to do in the bedroom that is for sure. And if you love filthy dirty talk with a prime alpha male and some praise kink mixed in there, than you definitely need to grab this one up. I just gobbled it all up.

I really loved the tale of the brothers and seeing their rift and seeing the growth in the hero in this book. He is so full of anger though and seeing him come to terms with his past and looking to mend bridges with his brother was so endearing. You could see how much family means to him. We see that in the type of brotherhood he has with his ranch hands and the type of father he is with his son....melted my heart. I absolutely adored seeing this child mixed in there and what a sex blocker he is and it was just hilarious haha But it wasn't overdone at all, it really felt normal in how kids normally block those steamy and spicy times.

The plot with the overall duo series was really interesting. I am really interested to see where its going to lead in the end and what a ending which has a bit of a serial cliffhanger and will lead you to instantly want to pick up the second book which is wonderful but very different setup from this one.

What I Struggled With
Some of the grammar and book errors is in this, so just be aware the editing isn't super polished. But as that doesn't bother me that much, it didn't take away from my overall enjoyment of the story.

Overall View
Breathe For Me is a superb story that will delivers hot spice, some laughs and well done relationship tension that is so well executed in the end and leave you wanting more of this world this author has crafted!

Favorite Quote(s)
“Love ain’t meant for cowboys. Because when a cowboy falls in love, not even the fires of hell could stop him from being with her.”

“Breathe for me, Valerie. Breathe for me and never stop,” I cried, shaking her body. “Breathe for me because I’m breathing for you.”

Recommendation For Reading Order
Yes I would highly recommend reading these in order if you can, but you can get away with not reading them in order.

Steam/Spice Explanations

Steamin' up the room -the sexual content is more explicit in the language and tone, heavier amount of sexual scenes. --I would say that this is borderline to Blazing steam. The sex scenes aren't a ton though but the ones that we get are very high in the spice tones.

Following God's will can be a real challenge, for both new believers and mature Christians! In an easy and personable style, author Brittany Ann shares a valuable resource to help make this possible, and she makes it very clear that it really boils down to following the two Greatest Commandments: loving God and loving others. This new book has 12 chapters that are divided into two parts: Discover God's Will and Follow God's Will. These chapters cover a wide range of topics, among them The Two Greatest Commandments, Understanding God's Written Word, Witnessing with Truth and Love, and Cultivating a Faith-Filled Mindset. All 12 chapters are filled with personal experiences and an abundance of God's Word. I especially like that we can 'Dive Deeper into Scripture', use the suggested questions to help increase our understanding, and explore the Notes and Recommended Resources for even more inspiration.

Follow God's Will is truly a treasure chest of encouragement and motivation and I recommend it for Christians in all stages of their Christian walk.

I voluntarily accepted an ARC from the author and BlogAbout Blogger Network. There was no obligation for a positive review.
