Your book sounds very interesting. I was in Zimbabwe last year and a friend of mine is often in the Congo because his girlfriend is an aid worker there. He told me recently a Spanish girl walked into a NP by herself and hasn't been seen since - have you heard about that?
Hiya, Dave. (Did I just say, "Hiya"?!)
I'm doing much better; went back to work this past Wednesday, just in time to spend the last 3 days of school with my babies. Within 90 minutes of my return, 3 of my little boys decided that drinking hand-sanitizer was a great idea. The one who actually swallowed a mouthful had to go to the hospital to get his stomach pumped. (Insert eye roll here). Well, at least teaching's not boring. :)

I blindly assumed everyone loved Hemingway, or at least appreciated him, until my booksigning this past weekend. A man asked me who my favorite author was and I said Hemingway, to which he replied, "I thought all you feminists hated him for his portrayal of women." Made me think.

Glad to have you as a friend here on LT, too. I look forward to your author chats.
