A great book written by one who was there in the thick of it. Great detail
As you would expect from one who was there he also gets D.I.S. Correct,
It’s Daily Issue Store - not Detail Issue Store

This is a pedestrian analysis of British India's Afghanistan problem. It is a good fact book, and a clear framework to organize more focused accounts.
