This book would be great for primary. This is about the story of a mother and child immigrating to a new country. It talks about the mistakes made and how she just wanted what best for her dream (her child) I thought that this book was super encouraging to her culture and the people in similar situations to her.

This book would be great for intermediate and primary. This book is very short but at the end it talks about what Vida Frida did and her life. I think that this book would even be great for a Spanish class it has both English and Spanish. This book really just goes through talking about how she is empowered by many to create love and live her life.

A story on an immigrant mother who just moved with her child from their home to a new place. How they made mistakes, or didn't understand how things worked at first so they felt out of place. Until they made it to the library and learned to read, write and speak. And found their place again?
