Memoirs of a Book Snake: Forty Years of Seeking and… af David Meyer
Loved it!! Filled with tons of stories of rare or valuable or just plain fun books found by Mr. Meyer's over the course of his life as a book hunter. Highly recommend for anyone who loves books but not just the stories in them but the life of the actual book itself.
Well written, but primarily a collection of anecdotes rather than a connected narrative. That isn't necessarily a flaw, but just not my preference.
A nice collection of reminiscences of a book and magic collector; book occasionally meanders and writing quality varies (Meyer is no Jim Steinmeyer), but a nice enough read if you are interested in the topic (he won't try to motivate you).
