I love the way Jill writes damaged, vulnerable characters, and hot alpha men. Her women are self-sufficient and her men are loyal. She is my "go to" for an adventurous, sexy read and I don't even know how to write a review anymore that doesn't gush. She provides consistently excellent writing and consistently fun stories. ( ) Jill Shalvis is one of those authors that I know I going to enjoy the book even before I start it. Most of the time I really love her books. Not all of them are a "hit out of the park" reads. But even the ones that aren't, are good! It really must suck to be her. So much love coming her way from all of us who love her books! I was lucky with Instant Temptation, not only did I do a catch up book, but I also read a book that's been siting on my shelve for a long while. I think the it was reissued in November 2012. I really need to learn to read faster. Instant Temptation ties up the Wilder Series. It's about J. T. Wilder and Harley Stephens. You get a feel for both of them from the prior books and also kind of figure out that there are some feels for each other. Oh boy was there. These two work! From the second the decided to have a little fun with each other you could see how well they matched up. Of course they didn't see it as clearly as I did. They should have just asked me! Of course they both run into some issues with each other, and don't know how to be open up and talk to each other. But hey, that's part of our enjoyment. I'll be brief. *Not her best work *At times tedious and redundant (maybe find a new way to describe sexy jeans so they're not all the same exact pair. on all the boys... js js js) *The best of the series *Glad I didn't start with her early work, otherwise I would have flounced. This is the 3rd and final book in Shalvis' Wilder Adventures series. I really enjoyed the first two and was looking forward to reading about TJ and Harley. In the previous books TJ seems the least likely to fall in love. He's aloof and detached, though he obviously cares about his family. I was surprised then that he was the one who was willing to think about more than a casual relationship. Harley's reasons for not wanting to pursue a relationship with TJ were sound, but they seemed to go on just a bit too long. The backdrop and secondary characters were was wonderful as always. I love the relationship between the three brothers and Harley and her sister, Skye. They were very well written. ingen anmeldelser | tilføj en anmeldelse

Wilder is a professional guide, and the perfect package of breathtaking adventure and raw sex appeal. Even better, he's about to reconnect with the one woman he's never been able to forget. Harley's career is riding on this trip, and she's torn between throttling him and giving in to the raw attraction that's been smoldering all these years. He'll finally have a chance to prove himself-- over and over again... Ingen biblioteksbeskrivelser fundet. |
