I'm usually not really into courtesan stories, but this type is the exception. It's a little too short to really belong on the angst shelf, but I did really enjoy the heroine, Coral's, process of growth and healing. This is the kind of story that makes me sad that men aren't really like this. (3.5 stars) (

This story was a novella about a minor character in the first book of the main trilogy. I am glad to see Coral Smythe get her happy ending -- I really liked how she was portrayed. I also really loved the Captain, and as a OTP, they worked well. (

Can we say short? Can we say sweet? Yep. This sure is both. It left me wanting. I wanted MORE of this wonderful and heartwarming romance.

Without reading any of her ‘The Prince’s Trilogy’ series and always wanting to, I thought this eNovella (which was originally published in 2010 and is being offered this year as an eBook), would be a great intro to the series. I was right and I’m now looking forward to reading it.

Just a coda novella to the Princes series following the relationship of Coral Smythe, the madam of the Aphrodite's Grotto brother, and her unexpected relationship with Captain Isaac Warkentin. Sweet and brief but not particularly worth hunting down unless you're a completist. (
