I have only started reading Ms. Storm's book recently and I am hooked! She has several different series in different genres and so far I have really enjoyed everything I've read. This book is the beginning of a new series and it was really sweet. Am looking forward to meeting more characters and enjoying their romances in the coming books. ( ) OH MY GOODNESS AND WHAT SOBBING MESS! I loved that Lolly Winston agreed to take over for her aunt to get well from hip surgery. She hoped to write songs while she was in Anchorage, but instead she found love with an abused husky that no one wanted, but she found the love of her life there. She always wanted to be HOT in Nashville and write songs and play them onstage, but which should she choose? I fell i love with, veterinarian, Oscar Rockwell the minute he had saved a dog from being put to death and as a dog lover, I wondered how cruel some humans could be. I look forward to reading book two if I can persuade my daughter to loan me her credit card as I JUST HAVE TO FINISH THE SERIES! Must Love Music is a charming story. It is the first book in The Alaska Sunrise Romances. Melissa Storm has a conversational writing style that draws the reader write in. The book has a nice steady pace. I quickly devoured this engaging romance. Oscar has a pregnant cat that he wants his mother to watch, but she will only do it if he agrees to another blind date. Kelly Rockwell wants Oscar to find his soul mate much to his chagrin. Lolly enters the tavern looking for Kelley and Oscar believes she means his mother, Kelly. It is a cute meet. The two are instantly taken with each other and have a good time. But Lolly is not looking for love. This is her one shot at being famous. We see Lolly struggle with the choice she needs to make between love and the man of her dreams (there must be another way). One of my favorite phrases in the book is “Home isn’t a place. It’s about how you feel.” I liked the addition of Timber, the husky rescue dog. Husky’s are warm, loving and intelligent dogs who make wonderful companions (can you tell I own a Husky) There are lovely descriptions of Anchorage (a place I would love to visit). I appreciated the epilogue that nicely wrapped up the book. Must Love Music is a sweet story that will warm your heart. Somebody Like You (Cupid's Bow: The Third Generation Book 1) I am rapidly falling in love with Melissa Storm and her casts of everyday sweethearts. In Love's Prophet I walked in with a broken heart and exited feeling inspired and refreshed. Love's Promise has readers cheering for the outcasts and gives hope in times of hopelessness. Ms. Storm uses her writing to communicate to the heart and her versatility is abundantly clear in the characters she chooses to create. Somebody Like You delivers a smart diatribe of dialogue and that emotional connection that Ms. Storm's characters are known for, to create a tale that is to die for. Every story is a new beginning and beautiful present to the world of literature. ingen anmeldelser | tilføj en anmeldelse
