In this one two football players both have feelings for one cheerleader. One was her childhood friend until he moved away in High school and both of their hearts were broken. The other is a player (literally and figuratively) she just met. How will she choose between her past and present to determine her future? While I was reading I went back and forth over who I wanted her to end up with but in the end I was happy with her choice. There are lots of laughs and some tears as you make your way to the Happily Ever After but it is well worth the trip. The only thing better than reading this book is knowing that there is a second book so everyone will get a Happily Ever After in the end. 4.5 stars I am not sure there is anything that Rachel Van Dyken cannot write. She ranges from Mafia to Paranormal to sports romance and so much more. Great characters in this book. Loved Emerson and Miller and hurt at all they had gone through. Loved, Sanchez. He made me laugh! Looking forward to the next in the series. Fraternize (Players Game) by Rachel Van Dyken Ms. Van Dyken creates heroines that are an inspiration. Her stories may be a bit risque, but the messages are rooted in positivity. Fraternize is a sexy spin on self love. You don't have be a size zero to go after what you want. Emerson is making her mark by living her own truth and working what she was born with. A couple of sexy guys and a chance in the spotlight are just an added bonus. Lessons to learn and characters to enjoy make Rachel Van Dyken a MUST read author. ingen anmeldelser | tilføj en anmeldelse

New York Times bestselling author Rachel Van Dyken kicks off a brand-new series in which romance is a game and love is a touchdown.Emerson just made her dream come true as a professional cheerleader for her favorite pro football team. But even though the plus-size athlete is breaking down boundaries, she still has to contend with the massive rulebook. Carbs? Nope. Chocolate? Definitely not. Still, Emerson loves her curves, and she'll rock the hell out of this job even if it kills her. Except for one mandate that is easier read than done...No fraternizing with the players.Problem one is Miller Quinton: Emerson's first love, first sex, and the guy who still ignites her daydreams and R-rated fantasies. Thrown back together, Miller and Emerson feel the undeniable pull of passion again, even if the conflict that tore them apart seems insurmountable. Then there's way-too-sexy Grant Sanchez. He has a serious reputation with the ladies, and when it comes to winning someone he wants, he doesn't let anyone stand in his way.Now Emerson is breaking every rule in the manual. But what she doesn't know is that she's part of a wicked little game--one that could steal both her dream and her heart. No library descriptions found. |

I do not like love triangles... At all.
I do not really read sports romances, I have read a few but only where the focus is on relationships not sport.
I do love RVD. I have read most of her books so I thought I'd give this one a try.
I do love second chance romance.
Miller and Emerson had a relationship when they were younger. They have lost touch both hurting from the 'split'. They reconnect years later through work, enter Grant Sanchez , a fellow player.
This book is very funny, the heroine is snarky and feisty, there is banter, heartbreak with an emotional punch.
It's a excellent story, has a serious side, both Emerson and Miller have some serious personal issues plus the whole breakup, he blames her, she blames him thing.
A good start to the new series. ( )
