Tess, the black sheep of her family, has a one-night stand with Prince Antone Salvatore, the guest of honor. She has no idea who he is. He finds that refreshing. When she comes to him about being pregnant he thinks she is no different than any other woman he has met. But since the child is his heir he takes her home with him.

This sets up the Napoline Royals series and introduces the characters. I liked the characters and the storyline is a Cinderella story. The author has brought me into the story. I could feel the Tess' hurt, pain, and anger when Antone shuts her out. For her it is no different than her family's actions. She does show him though that she is ready to be at his side working for his country. He has to change his thinking. I am looking forward to the rest of the series. ( )
