Past hurts, slights and bias give him a warped sense of self-worth. Not bitter but heartbroken none the less, he decides to fight back. It boggles my mind that he would want the one person who was determined to think the worse of him at every turn. No one else's opinion mattered but hers. Katherine didn't deserve him. I learned one thing from Virtuous Scoundrel. "Actions speak louder than words." Sebastian proved he had more class in his little finger than any rich titled peer. He chose to forgive rather than retaliate. I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review. Yes!!! After reading the first book in this series i could hardly wait for this one. I loved it, not as much as the first one but it was still a fantastic book. Maggie Fenton has a way of infusing wit and humor in her books that make it so hard to stop reading. Enjoyed seeing Astrid and the ever funny Aunt Annabel, cant wait to read about Marlowe. THANKS TO NETGALLERY FOR THIS ADVANCED READER'S COPY ingen anmeldelser | tilføj en anmeldelse

When fate casts Sebastian upon her mercy, however, she learns two shocking truths: he may not be the scoundrel his reputation suggests, and he's hopelessly in love...with her.But an irate squire, an even more irate dog, several dawn appointments, meddling friends, and a touch of blackmail aren't the only things that stand in the way of their happy ending.
