I really enjoy this series. Nadya and Grady book was very enjoyable. Good conflict and a bit of unexpected mystery. Characters are great and likeable or easy to dislike, depending. I'm hoping Nate gets his own book soon. :) ( )

Some books play with your emotions and leave you drowning in the FEELS. Gypsy Heat is one of those books. Nadya returns home after leaving her abusive ex-husband. She needs a safe place to heal and find herself again. The perfect place for her to do that is among her family and friends at Gypsy Beach. Only problem is her first true love, Grady lives there as well. The two share a painful history that they will need to overcome in order to rekindle their love.

I loved the characters in this book, especially Grady and his brothers. Grady is an alpha male with strong protective instincts. He feels compelled to take care of his family and the people he loves. He is determined to help Nadya find her own strength again.

Nadya had moments of heartrending vulnerability that just made me want to give her a hug and tell her she can muddle through it. She struggles with overcoming her past and the fear that chokes her from the abuse she suffered. She’s complex though, she shows that she can also be fierce when faced with ignorance and prejudice towards her family and friends.

Set in a small beach town, filled with suspense, humor, and a sweet romance, Gypsy Heat has all the essential elements for a great beach read. It will definitely have your FEELS all over the place though, so have some tissues handy. Nadya and Grady work hard to overcome the obstacles that stand in the way of their happily-ever-after. Their love is not an easy romance by any means. I would have like to see a bit more of the gypsy culture, but still a very enjoyable book. If you are looking for a beach or summer read I would recommend this one for you.
