I gave this book 3 stars because it is not possible to give 3.5 stars. I really did like this book but Reagan bugged me. I got annoyed at her not telling Alex what as going on it mad the story drag for me and I got annoyed at her passivity. I did really enjoy the book other than that plot issue. (

Shatter Me by Tori St. Claire was an okay read for me. This story dealt with two very important subject matters that are faced within our daily society-spousal abuse and loss. Loved the concept but the execution could have been better. I thought that the story stalled after the first chapter. Although the characters ware likable enough, I didn't really feel any chemistry. Wow! This book was so much more than I was expecting. Wonderfully written with a story that truly blew me away. Reagan is a strong woman and keeping her dead husbands secrets seems like the right thing to do. Alex has always felt the guilt of his attraction to his best friends wife and now that his friend is dead it really hits him hard. But maybe, some things are just meant to be.....

Great read and I highly recommend it! (

This story is a different view of military romance. The characters are well developed and their emotions are thoroughly expressed. There is a lot of steamy scenes and the story seems to be drawn out. (Maybe there is just too much detail for a short period of time.) The ending seems to be wrapped up rather quickly. Overall, the story is enjoyable but not as gripping as it could have been.
