I'm sorry but I couldn't rate it any higher: the age difference between the two main characters and in particular Sebastian's age really made me uncomfortable!
I've already started Book 2 and I'm more at ease with it. ( )

Este libro, realmente, no es malo. Es una historia realista, pero lo torturado de la trama y los sentimientos de los personajes, me causaron durante toda la lectura mini ataques depresivos. Tenía que dejar de leer por partes, para recuperarme, antes de retomar la lectura.

Si buscas una ligera historia de amor, no leas esto. Este libro fue como un Dementor para mí, me robo la felicidad —sobretodo con el mal mal final que tiene—. A pesar de eso, es una historia difícil de olvidar y como no creo que pueda vivir con ese final tan inconcluso, definitivamente leeré la continuación, sólo que antes ire a comprar montones de chocolates. ( )

Hmmm, where to start? Is it wrong that I was not bothered too much by the age difference? I felt that although Caroline was physically older than Sebastian, her mental state was equal to his. She lead a very sheltered life where she always did what she was told. It wasn't until things began with Sebastian did she attempt to grow up and stick up for herself. I loved how Sebastian wore his heart on his sleeve for her, a quality I hope he doesn't lose in Book 2. Caro still has some more work to do in order to win me over. She never manipulated him or took advantage of his trust, he was a very willing participant in their relationship and even the aggressor at times. However, they were both very naive to a disastrous fault and I wonder what they have learned so far and if their luck will change. ( )

Aunque un melodramático al extremo (novelón , novelón en varios momentos) , se diferencia bastante de los protagonistas usuales . Entretenido e inesperado . ( )
