Emma Johnson's normal average life is about to be turned upside down. She learns that her father, who she's never met is a vampire. Plus her appointed protector Caleb is an incredible sexy werewolf. For Emma, learning these two things opens up a whole new world to her. Crimson Moon was an excellent read. Chock full of action, adventure, heartache and a wonderful unbreakable romance. I really loved both Caleb and Emma, two characters that were a joy to read. I couldn't help but root for them. The instant attraction between them was just delicious. The great thing about this story is that Emma takes to the supernatural world with mostly ease and intrigue. I liked that. Ms. Saare has hit another one out of the park. If you haven't read one of her books yet, I highly recommend you do. ingen anmeldelser | tilføj en anmeldelse

An average morning is what Emma Johnson envisions when she visits Joe's Caf for a steaming cup of coffee. But the world isn't the place she imagined it to be, and neither is she... After Emma is rescued from a horde of bloodthirsty creatures, she discovers she is the daughter of a powerful Vampire from the House Deviard, her rescuer, Caleb, having been sent to see her safely home. For Caleb is also unique, a werewolf procured to protect the royal Vampiric bloodlines from harm - but nothing more. Soon, the undeniable connection Emma and Caleb share evolves beyond attraction into something unexpected. When she is forced to make a choice, what path will she take - vampire or wolf? Her world is turned upset down when eating breakfast in a restaurant, is approached by a guy she knew from high school. He’s acting and speaking very weird, trying to get her to leave with him. A man intervenes and throws her over his shoulder and runs miles while they are being chased and shot at by a group of crazed red-eyed individuals. So begins her introduction to the world of vampires and werewolves and finding out that she belongs to that world.
The story sucks you in pretty quickly and carries a great deal of both action and emotions; and the emotions run the gamut. The world and character building are well done and the story moves along at a good clip. I read it in one sitting. It was very easy to experience everything through Emma and I fell in love with many of the characters.
This is book one in a trilogy. I’ll definitely be getting the next one. ( )
