Der er ingen diskussionstråde på Snak om denne bog. Important, yet it still read a bit like "look at all the awful things" instead of a complete story. I wanted it to be a bit more fictional, I suppose; her friendship with the one boy was the only thing that got me super invested. ( ![]() CW: Child sex trafficking Reading a book with this type of subject matter I am used to. I felt for the character, her innocence taken from her was heart wrenching. America saves the day in the end which is an interesting message to send, but I still enjoyed this story. I found myself worried about secondary characters a lot. I wonder if she ever saw her mother again. Well written, but holy cow! depressing. Why is this a hot new teen read, exactly? I'm mostly skimming through this book. I'm a little burnt out on reading right now. At least, reading anything of such a serious matter. Frankly, I found the first half of the book a bit boring. The second half is fascinating but so far very grim. ingen anmeldelser | tilføj en anmeldelse
