My students love listening to a different language when I read books in Spanish, This book we also use during our April unit because we cover Spring Time. This book is really cool because all the words in the book are in Spanish, so the children will try and repeat the words as I read. It's a great way to work on Language and Speaking. ( )

This story shows all different kinds of insects and bugs that you can find. It shows their mannerisms, what they look like and the sounds that they can make. The story helps to understand what a bug looks like, and what they can do.

Though this is an informational book about bugs, it still rhymes and is colorful to be appealing to children. At the end of the book, there is a chart called "Bug-O-Meter" to look at and see different facts about the different bugs. ( )
