(  ) JennyArch | Oct 29, 2019 | I got this book to read to my nephew for Halloween. I haven't read any other Nate the Great books, but had heard good things about them. I gave this book 3 stars, averaging out my nephew and my reactions. I was disappointed and felt that, in comparison to other books in this age range, it was too simple of a story and fell below his intelligence level. That said, he really enjoyed the book as a bedtime story. He's six and had the book read to him. He did not read it independently.
