It's very fun and it gives readers a different look at Groundhog's Day- one from the groundhogs' perspectives! It takes readers on a journey to Groundhog Weather School- a place where animals go to be trained on what to do on Groundhog's Day. Groundhog Weather School explains what happens on Groundhog's Day and how we determine when spring will begin. It is jam packed with facts about Groundhog's Day and general animal facts. This book is about a groundhog that gets his groundhog day prediction wrong. In order to ensure more accuracy he creates the groundhog weather school to teach other groundhogs how to make groundhog day predictions in order to make his prediction ore accurate. ( )

Professor Groundhog was having trouble predicting the weather so he decided to start a school in order to educate future groundhog weather reports. He recruits groundhogs and one skunk to attend Groundhog Weather School. The students go through vigorous testing and lectures in order to pass their final exam and get assigned to cities all over the country so they can predict the weather. They all set alarms to wake up on February 2nd to go out and see if they can see their shadows and predict if Spring will come early. The weather scouts report their data to the Groundhog Weather School and Professor Groundhog goes on the news to tell the world that Winter will last extra long this year. However, weather is still hard to predict. ( )
