Uberwoot! is an uber hoot! I loved the humor and repartee and imagination. Definitely written for someone with a razor sharp wit who likes the more subtle nuances (for example, he never explains that “Dilligaf” is also a texting acronym, go ahead – look it up). Usually I read quickly, but quickly realized that it was best to slow down to catch the fullness and richness – it was indeed pleasurable to read it more slowly, almost as though speaking the words.

Everything fits together as you read about Ian Dilligaf being disillusioned about life, and his experiences as his midlife crisis plays out in quite an unusual way. Fritzie is the telepathic dog who's got a smart mouth and wit and is absolutely hilarious. One of his wives (?? yes he has two), Kanilla is adorable, sweet and spunky and it was cool to read about all her tattoos and her tattoo fortune telling business. Don’t want to give away any more than this. And in the middle of it all, you get to think about what it takes to be truly happy – to reach Uberwoot!

Quotes, quotes and more quotes! Miller has an excellent way with words - he crafted some delightfully quotable gems that are now posted on my work cubicle bulletin board. I received this book from a friend, and am passing it onto a co-worker who loved the quotes and kept begging for me to finish the book. I’ve read his other book “PW2 2012” which was awesome and inspiring, and just started “Islands of Instability.” Miller is one of my favorite new authors. ( )

I completely loved this book, so much so that before I'd gotten very far I had to find a way to e-mail the author to tell him how much I was enjoying it. The first 6 chapters were the most fun I'd had reading in quite some time. However, as the book progressed, my interest and investment in the characters simply waned, and I can't put my finger on why.

While I didn't love this book all the way to the end, I was sufficently impressed by the beginning to look forward to Miller's other work. ( )
