I read it for the lulz. If you like stuff like "What's up the priest at Eric and Vanessa's wedding", this is the book for you! ( )

This book is really a junk pile. Lots of outdated information, a few real incidents, and thick with innuendo and moralistic finger waving. Oooh, did you know there are gays at Disney World? Ooooh, did you know some Disney merchandise is/was made in sweatshops? Oooh, did you know about Miramax, distributing films with adult content? Ooooh, Disney wants to do business in China, those dirty Communists?

Come on, people.

The authors really love to linger in obsessive detail over stories of pedophelia, sexual assault, and peeping toms. The detail they provide is completely unnecessary to get their point across, and they come off as sleaze-mongers just as much, if not more than the practices they pretend to deplore. It seems like these incidents happened, but in a company the size of Disney, I'm sure you can uncover pretty much anything. What is the point of writing a whole book about them, in ridiculous pedantic detail?

The whole book reads like a juvenile Sunday morning moralistic pulpit reading. Get thee hence, Satan! Thou hast mouse ears! Dumb. ( )

I have only just started reading this book a day ago and it is hard to put down. It includes a lot of info that many current employees never even knew about. Since Eisner took over.... Disney is tied to porn, satan, drugs, etc?! WWWD? (What would Walt Disney do?)
