This short story was about a young girl inviting her over to meet her family. She told her about her father, mother, brother, sister and baby sister. She lived with her Grandma too. Afterwards, she invited her to come over for a while and play with her.

Personal Reflection:
This children's book is for a beginner reader. It has great illustrations that go along with the text. The story shows a light skinned girl with blonde hair talking with a darker skinned girl with long black hair. She creates her family with playdoh to show her friend who all lives with her. I can remember being excited when someone came over my home when I was a child. This brought that to text.

Classroom Extension:
1. we can make our families with playdoh.
2. we can write a story about our families.
3. We can talk about our siblings. We can see how many have brothers or sisters, or both/neither. ( )
