This nonfiction book provided a good basic introduction for students 3rd grade to 5th about how different systems in the body works. It is easy to flip through and is color coded the diagrams of the systems are accurate without being graphic. It combines interesting educational facts with scientific information and is very interesting. I would recommend this book for students who want to start learning how things work. ( )

The book informs the reader about the human body and all the functions that are preformed within the body. I like this book because it provides a layout from the cells to the skeletal structure. It is productive for children to know what’s inside their bodies and how we should take care of it. This is a wonderful source to share during health awareness week. Also, I would implement this during an art activity; the student can use the imagery to help them create a individual drawing of a body.
