This book teachers about the diffrent kinds of frogs. The illustrations are in watercolour and each page depicts different frogs in their habitat. This book would be great when talking about nature.

This book describes the rainforest and it's features. It gives descriptions of the many different frogs that live in the rainforest. It tells what the frogs eat and how they disguise themselves to avoid predators. The books tells about the reproduction of different frogs. The poison dart frog are very dangerous and one frog can contain enough poison to kill more than a hundred people. The book also tells about the extinction of frogs and that no one is sure why certain frogs are disappearing from our planet. ( )

This book would be appropriate for 3-6 grade students who are interested in frogs, specifically all the different variations of frogs that can be found in the rain forest. The book illustrates and discusses all different sorts of known frog species in the rain forest, and explains how different the rain forest habitat is from the habitats American students and the frogs they know are used to. I would use this book as an introduction to non-fiction books or as a recommendation for a research report of a students choice. The central issue addressed in this book are species and habitats (specifically frogs and the rain-forest).
