Had a blast flipping through these pages with my three year old bonus son! We'd laugh, try to figure out the animal/fruit/vegetable, and even make up little stories about what was going on! Personally, the turtles were my favorite! A fun, fun "read"! ( )

I am speechless with delight over this little wonder. As a father of six, grandfather of eight and a kindergarten volunteer for the past twelve years, I can attest to the fact that this is a perfect book for children whose minds have not been dulled by video games and television.
This is a bright and shiny book for bright and shiny children. ( )

Freymann and Joost's Food Play is another clever addition to the "Play With Your Food" series, featuring more witty -- and sometimes downright silly -- sculptures made entirely of fruit and vegetables. The photos in this book don't confine themselves to one-offs either: one odd-numbered page features the end of a lemon with a curly tail; the snouted front end is on the even-numbrered reverse of the page. Another two pages feature a sequence of an orange yawning, swallowing a "fly" in the process. All in all, this book is a hoot. ( )
