In A Red House, by Nancy Tafuri is a very cute book that is appropriate for children just beginning to learn how to read and learn their colors. One thing I like about the book is that it uses a short and simple story as a way to teach children colors. It does not just list a bunch of colors and show them as a picture, but instead describes different things inside a house that are all different colors; such as a purple chair and an orange ball which are both in a blue room. I also like the layout of the pages because they are very age appropriate. The text is very large and so is the picture. Also, their is no background or anything else on the page to distract from the color that is being described which ensures that the child will not be confused. The big idea of this book is teaching colors. ( ) ingen anmeldelser | tilføj en anmeldelse
