Then she had to infiltrate a dangerous cult, and pretending to be a submissive wife was the only way in. Even worse, her new "husband" quickly aroused feelings ignored for too long. Matt Stone had escaped Zion's Gate, but concern for the sister left behind had him agreeing to the cops' plan to return. The premise of this book was interesting with hero Matthew and heroine Angel posing as a married couple to infiltrate a polygamous sect, Zion's Gate. Matthew is there to get his sister out. His crazy uncle is the leader. Angel is there to see if weapon and drug smuggling is going on. The story was good, but I'd have liked to have seen more time spent out and about the compound instead of in the house Angel and Matthew were staying at with Matthew's aunt. Still, it was a good enough read with likable characters and it was definitely different for a Superromance. ( )
