This is a super adorable book that takes a totally recognizable situation--parents making their son clean up his room--and turns it on its head. Kids will giggle as clean-loving Little Oink is forced to mess up his room. (Look for this author's other books where animal parents make their kids eat candy and stay up late.) Another funny alternate-universe story with fantastic pictures. ( ) "Little Oink" is a book that follows the reverse psychology approach to room cleaning. This book seems to be related with another book by Amy Krouse Rosenthal called "Little Pea". Little Oink wants to keep a clean room, but that is against they way of being a pig (messy). Being messy is the chore of pigs, but his parents reward him with letting him clean up his messy house in the end. Entertaining story that may help influence younger children to see cleaning as being more fun than a chore if they want to follow in the footsteps of Little Oink. ingen anmeldelser | tilføj en anmeldelse

Little Oink is a neat little pig, but his parents will not allow him to play until he is messy, as pigs should be. No library descriptions found. |
