The Treasured Writings of Kahlil Gibran is a collection of writings by Kahlil Gibran. This goes without saying, though it does contain a biography of the man. The book is quite enjoyable and interesting since it gives off an atmosphere similar to that of The Prophet. Since it is so long, the works are organized by theme. The Main Pieces to the work go like this; Tears and Laughter Between Night and Morn Secrets of the Heart Spirits Rebellious The Broken Wings The Voice of the Master Thoughts and Meditations A Self-Portrait Mirrors of the Soul The Wisdom of Kahlil Gibran The Self-Portrait section is a collection of his correspondence, while the Mirrors of the Soul section is his biography or autobiography as the case may be. ingen anmeldelser | tilføj en anmeldelse

The most wide-ranging collection of wisdom and works from the legendary twentieth-century spiritual guide and author of The Prophet. Kahlil Gibran produced some of the world's most remarkable poems and philosophical essays throughout his almost thirty-year career. This enriching collection of his works includes more than 150 of his stories, prose poems, verse, parables, and autobiographical essays. From The Broken Wings, about the tragic end of a first love, to A Self Portrait, revealing Gibran's greatest passions through his personal letters to friends and family, each book in this collection serves as an absorbing and comprehensive introduction to the legendary thinker. > Ce livre fait suite à Les miroirs de l'âme qui traitait plus de l'oeuvre de Gibran et ici nous permet de puiser dans maints petits trésor de sagesse, au hasard de ses réflexions sur les multiples aspects du phénomène humain.
